New Twist On An Old Favourite: Lian-Li PC-777
Lian-Li has earned the following of many enthusiasts with quality metalwork in heavy-gauge aluminium sheet. The PC-777 marks the company's 20th anniversary, in a "Memorial" model.
External Design
Applying the nautilus shape to a traditional layout allows Lian Li to provide artistic flair with little functional consequence. This is the only truly desktop-oriented design from today's comparison, though its size would still lead most users to set it on the floor.

Each side houses a spiral-formed mesh sheet for increased ventilation, with a front grill assisting an internal fan at the front. Also found up front are an aluminium optical drive and framed-framed floppy drive bezels occupying two of the six 5.25" bays.
Since most users will likely be placing the Memorial PC-777 beside their desks on the floor, Lian-Li places "front panel" ports and buttons on top. These include Power and Reset buttons, an IEEE-1394 FireWire port, two USB ports, and headphone and microphone jacks.

More of that beautiful black metal mesh covers the 120 mm exhaust fan, and the power supply is located at the bottom.
