Too lazy or embarrassed to pick up your cell phone to see who is calling? Soon you'll be able to simply glance at your watch for Caller ID information with Fossil and Sony Ericsson's new line of watches. The watch receives the Caller ID information via a Bluetooth link with the owner's mobile phone and then displays the number under a set of traditional hour and minutes hand.

You won't be able to actually answer the phone call with the watch, but you can send the caller to voicemail by hitting a button on the side. Fossil hopes the watch will make number verification less disruptive, but we think constantly glancing at the watch could give the wrong impression and be even more disruptive to uninformed people.

The watches should be available next month for around $250.
