Game Developers Conference kicks off with low expectations

The annual Game Developers Conference starts today in San Francisco's lovely Moscone Convention Center, but will this year's show be as interesting as the last? According to many attendees we spoke to, this year's show looks to be rather hum-drum when compared to the console releasing madness of 2006. Good read! Thanks for the link. It's too bad they don't have the newest video cards included in the roundup though.

HardOCP is using AOC for one of its benchmarks lately. They have 4870X2 preview, 4870/4850 and GTX280/260 reviews using Age of Conan.

Apart from liking to use 2560x1600 resolution (30"LCD) too much the reviews are useful.

Umm there is no DX10 in AoC at the moment. The last patch may have moved the game from paid beta to ready for prime time as far the feature set goes.
