You're missing a dvd drive and a power supply.

Am I correct in assuming that DVD Drive and cd-rom are different? I want to be able to play DVD's as well as run games, but mainly the games if the DVD thing will push me over my budget

Dvd drives play cd and dvds. there is no point in getting a cd rom drive because they're useless. you're going to need dvds. You're also going to need a power supply, a 550w should be good enough.

The case I am thinking about has a 500W power supply, would that pose any problems?

do you think a 20$ psu will work as the 100$ ?!!!! of course not this psu is rated at 500w but that doesn't mean that it will be able to push 500w all the time.Don't skimp on the psu bec. it is the most important part in every system

is that an amd 940?

Nope 945 - the integrated memory controller (IMC) on the chip itself can 'talk' to both DDR2 and DDR3 Its a socket AM3 Phenom 2 chip whereas the 940BE is socket AM2+

WOW thats an amazing deal! thanks! I think i might go with that but noob question the DVD Burner is indeed a dvd rom right? And is that graphics card not ATI? itll still be the same as the really sweet one on the graphics charts right?

Cool i realy appreciate it this setup is great. how does this card stack up against the Geforce GTX 275? i see on the charts its supposed to be better, but it doesnt say ATI anywhere in the title, that doesnt matter does it? Also, is crossfiring like having 2 cards to take advantage of the SLI? i wont need to buy another one in order to get the performance i want will i?
