XP Vista and Windows 7 all there.

These drivers raised my Far Cry 2 frames dramatically:

Avg: 94 Max:142 Min:63

Up from: Avg: 62 max:104 Min: 44

Ranch Small, 3 loops. 1920x1200, 4XAA DX10, everything on ultra high.

These drivers also are supposed to raise fps in other titles such as crysis, and World in Conflict.

Download em and go have some fun.

No not possible how can you get a max od 142 frames and a min of 63 when 3 280s get a max of 70 and a min of 30 at the same res and 8xaa? I not trying these i dont trust this guy...

Reply to sargentchimera

I need a few people to confirm this for me, i dont want A VIRUS cuase this is a shared computer and my dad would KILL me.

First of all, show me where you get that info, it seems awfully low for a tri-sli setup. Secondly, I am not using 8XAA, just 4X. Thirdly, my scores are legit, and the drivers are also legit, no virus or anything. BTW I did not upload the drivers, I am just linking to a site that did.

It was a vid on youtube, dont remember exact video, but the guy showed the system and him playing and the fraps counter in the corner. Now i dont think 8xaa and fraps would lower the max framerate 80 fps.

Secondly, hes getting the response from these drivers ATI claimed he would

OK i feel like an idiot... for some reason i though you wrote crysis instead of farcry 2. Im sorry i feel, well stupid =/

Reply to sargentchimera

They made the claims. And they are legit. I have em, but dont have CF, so I dont see those kinda numbers
Im thinking theyve fixed the multi threading thru to the cpu/gpu connection with these drivers, plus other things.
Theyre trying to kick start DX11 and their new cards, along with W7 and the i5 releases

haha no problem dude, I did get crysis fps boost, but only a few.

And for the past 10 minutes I've been re-running the FC2 benchmarks, and taking screen shots to help prove my innocence, oh well I'll post them anyways, these really are incredible numbers! Have a Look:

In case you can't access the photo, the avg. went up to 98 , minimum 65 and max of 146.

You bring up an intersting point, and I would like to say that for the first time ever with FC2, my quad core cpu is running at 80-90% during the benchmark, I currently have it at a very slight 3.5Ghz OC, I wonder if the increases would continue if I put it back up to 3.8-3.9

Best thing to do at this point would be to roll back drivers

where do i go to uninstall divers after i click control panel?

Reply to sargentchimera

There should be something called catalsyt install manager or something like that, use that to uninstall, btw make sure you download the proper driver for your OS. such as 32/64 bit etc

If these improvements are seen thruout their whole lineup, the 4890 is now the single fastest card, while your x2 is the fastest

OK, go to add and remove drivers. find your drivers click and follow the directions.

OK, then shut down your pc and reboot, itll look funky with the windows drivers, but thatll be ok, cause you can then reinstall your old drivers off the cd or download the old ones or even retry the new ones from the same place, which is what Id do.

Ill help you via remote assistance if you PM me. It'll cost you $20 paypal.

I installed new drivers. played L4D for a while, 1920x1080. Everything absolutely max (8x AA, 16x AF) with triple buffering.

Doing a FRAPS benchmark says that the Max was 63, min 43, avg 59.733. If i do recall, the min before the new drivers would drop into the low 30's during a hoard, so that has improved.

I am using a 4850, clocks at 700 core 1093 mem.

It also appears that the F@H GPU client does not yet quite support the new drivers? Anyone else have anything on this? Each time I start the core the screen flickers, but it is using the GPU/CPU processing power, so I guess that its running.

It took em over a year, but oh it feels good.

makes up for literally 0% in game fps increases in their last 5 or 6 driver updates.

Most go into sleep mode which presumably saves power and the printer starts more quickly than if it runs through the test routines usual when first powering up. I always turn my printer off after use -- but then I don't do much printing.
