only difference between them i saw is the one you suggest has firewire but i have never had to use firewire for anythingand the one i posted had ddr3 but is there really that much of a diffrence between ddr3 and ddr2 ?

I think DDR3 is a totally bad investment today given the price/performance ratio. It'll come down in price but its too expensive today IMO.

but see the on i suggested had bolth. as for dagger i couldnt find a x38 for under 190 before rebates. also whats the point in having 8gb of ram if your computer only reads 3.5 gb roughly ?

You'd need a 64-bit OS and use for the extra RAM.

I think so. Some will say go with XP64 but I have to recommend Vista64 based on my experience.

XP64 has some driver issues. Ideally, go for Vista64.

^What driver issues? Remember Creative?

I remember when Vista came out the driver issues were rediculous. They've come a long frigg'n way. I personally can't even complain about the Creative X-Fi drivers for Vista64 anymore.

ok so im thinking about changing my build a little. i think i might go with a quad core that i will overclock. and im thinking i will get vista 64 bit.

I think you'll like the performance on that. I'd recommend a Q6600 if you can still find them for ~$200. Great bang for the buck.

No worries, the Mod's won't delete it. Unlike the mods on other sites (rurpit, RC,etc) won't randomly delete threads, heck you can still find threads that are from 2005.

ok a new question people have posted that you need a full atx case but bolth cases i have suggested to me are mid atx cases

anyone just one last question? just want to know if a 8800 gts will fit in a mid size atx case

It will fit on any standard mid tower atx cases. That is, standard midtowers that you buy separately, not those from HP or Dell.
