water cooled everything but the ram hard drives and voltage regulators on the mobo... quite a tight fit.

just thought I'd post this one because I saw a few people complaining about not have fan filters on the antec 900 case... I have matching ones on it now two of the bottom ones it works quite well

Awesome setup man, any way we could get a pic with the case open? I'd really like to see the inside!

y3wildmonk eys -->does the 200mm fan cool the rad well?
I was considering placing another rad up there also... but was thinking the air is all warm as it is exhaust.

Since most of the heat is transfered to the radiator there's not too much warm air for it to suck out. It cools it just fine here are my idle temps... my cpu is only @ 2.65
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b254/y3wildmonkeys/temps.jpg
the temps are from running just normal apps not completely idle
one and 3 are cpu
2 is my nforce
and the last one is my gpu

@ idle the cpu goes down to 32

I also replaced the front fans with these
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/ [...] &mv_pc=144
it was a little bit of overkill I could have bought the slower version.. these fans are much quieter than the ones that come with the case

Here's a pic of my the inside the tubes are how they are for a reason... if I shortened or change the angle on any of them it would add stress to my components... I used pretty thick tubing

Not sure wot exchange rates u used here, but u can get a BFG 8800GTX OC for under £200 at overclockers.co.uk or if u have the OC-2 version then just over £200. They do charge delivery but in total will be around £210 - £220. so around $440?

Im new to the forum, sorry if im not allowed to advertise but when i saw these prices i wish i held out a little longer instead of buying my 8800 GTS's.

Hope this helps u nzxtlexa

Yes thanks for this. Its about $480 once you include tax and postage but it doesn't matter now anyway as I've already got the second card for only 150GBP of ebay and its as new with all original bits. I'll post some new pics later for those who asked.

it's an 8x11 and 3/4 inch thick XD I would have gotten the same size one only an inch and a half thick... but that would have been way too much overkill... this one was overkill lol

I just recently got 2 dell 30" 3007WFP monitors, in addition to my 2 existing 24" gateway fpd2485w's (already posted those earlier in the thread). So this is my new setup with my new desk. Very happy with it :)

My quad monitor setup. Got the 2 24's sideways at 1200x1920 on each end, and of course the 30's at 2560

My rig, 2x 8800GTX's, q6600, 2x 750gig western dig. caviar raid 0. 8gigs of ram (for when im usin my windows vista ult 64 os). kind of a silly position for the fan with the vid card right next to it, but the fans on the side of the case seem to do the trick anyway

your temps are 15c higher than shown since you are using speedfan, thats not very good for water cooling and at idle.

Nuke it, Nuke it good!

Speedfan is fine as long as you add the 15c offset. the next release will have it fixed.

Here are some new pics eventually with the second 8800 gtx in SLI. A few other bits have changed as you can see from my sig.

My Striker Extreme 680i died completely and after trying literally every reset I just gave up. Rang Amazon UK as this is where I got it from and believe it or not they said they could either replace it or refund it! So I jumped at the oppurtunity, said refund please and for just £15 (about $30), I upgraded to an eVGA 780i board!

As for the new CPU, I was just in the mood! Very happy with it though, running 3.8ghz stable with none of the cores going past 53 degrees.

EDIT: Just ran 3Dmark06 and got 18266 with a CPU score of 5288. If I remember correctly this is about a 5,000 increase over my E6700 @ 3.6 and a single 8800 GTX

Anyway, the pics:

Nice setup, the fan over the Video cards is 2 small for my taste but your scores and your hardware are incredible!

I get around 18000 with my GX2 and I got around 15000 with the 9600 GT in Sli:P

Thanks man. I agree about the fans I think 120mm looks better than 80mm but then again I think having 2 x 80mm is better than having 1 x 80mm. I had to mount them on top of the case otherwise the PCI-E PSU cables would be in the blades of the fans for the second card. I either had to mount the fans on top or put the two cards right up next to each other which really isn't recommended with these hot cards.

I may to overclock the cards a bit or try and get stable at 4ghz with the QX9650 as I reckon this would give me a better 3Dmark06 score. I just can't get stable at 4ghz in Prime95 without seriously pushing the vcore beyond what I am confortable with for a 45nm cpu for the long term.

Nice. How good is the EVGA 780i any way? Also care to post your 3dMark "Vantage" score? :D
