Guys..
I bought linksys WRT54G2 a month ago..I just updated my firmware. and then I go to google and search for alternative firmware. I found OpenWRT. I want to ask u about the diff both and what is the pros and cons ? Is OpenWRT compatible with my linksys ? because my friend told me that linksys type WRT54GS can be updated by more than 2 diff type of firmwares. Is it true? because I've never tried it.. thanks for the sharing.

OpenWRT is compatible with LinkSys WRT54G model. The following non-OpenWRT links might be helpful (not mine own words btw):

If you get stuck, here are some popular Linksys Forums to go to for help: Click on Linksysinfo.org (http://www.linksysinfo.org/forums/) and Broadband Linksys Discussion Forum (http://www.broadbandreports.com/forum/linksys) and of course Brainslayer's Forum (the creator of the DD-WRT Firmware) at DD-WRT Forum (http://dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/). Something new is always cookin' in the Forums.
