Check the RAM, try one stick and different slots. If you don't have the precise number of standoffs and all are screwed down could cause a short. Not likely the PSU if it happens with different ones

DDR2 spec voltage is 1.8V, I try to run at 2.05-2.1V to get it to run at 800MHz. I try running it at 667Mhz (instead of 800MHz), but that problem is not solves !!!

I have heard of problems with memory compatability. I also have this board and it was a gift going to try and build with it in a couple of weeks with the same processor but i am going to use 4 gb kit 800 mhz from OCZ that i have read works with this..

I'm having similar problems. I list my system components below.

After I have been watching the TV Tuner or playing higher end graphic games, when I go to reboot, I get a black screen. If I am just working on spreadsheets, word documents or browsing the web, I don't typically have the problem.

I have taken my computer back and forth to the shop I bought it at and at first it won't post, (reboot). But usually on the second try it will post fine. After that they have said that it reboots perfectly. I've taken it back in around 4 times and all four times they could not duplicate the problem. Last time in they updated the bios and changed out all the cords inside the case. They played the games I do and watched the TV Tuner over a whole week without a problem.

They have tested all the parts and the memory, it tests out fine. They have even put the parts in other machines to see if they run correctly there. No problems.

Take it home and no dice, still having reboot problems.

OK, here is the kicker, the Antec 900 case has a master power switch in the back of the box and a front power switch. For whatever reason, I have a much better chance of booting correctly if I turn the master switch off for a few seconds before I boot. 95% of the time that it doesn't boot right, if I toggle the power switch on back, it boots just fine.

Thinking that I may somehow be having some power surge problem, I have hooked the computers power up to it's own surge protector and plugged that into it's own wall outlet.

I noticed that I had my HP printer hooked up both through the network router and direct to the USB port, I unhooked the router connection then switched power cords on the computer.

Tonight is the test, it rebooted fine this morning but I haven't played any games or watched the TV. I'll do that tonight and then see how it boots.

Anyone have any thoughts here?

Follow-up:

So far it has failed to boot on the first try once and booted fine 3 other times.

On the failed boot, it came after using the TV Tuner card. After turning off the master power switch, it booted fine.
