look for the reset button on the router, usually its a little hole on the back, you need to push the button inside it. it varies for different routers but give this a go,
switch off the router, find the hole and push the button, whilst holding the button in, switch on the router, hold that button in for around 30 seconds, count out loud or in your head but do hold it, if you have been successful the leds on the front should go out and then come back on just as if you had just restarted it.
now once the router is reset, look for the wifi led, if lit look for it on your machine, it will be the default ssid and wep code thats hopefully printed on the router where you looked earlier. if the wifi led is not lit you will need to link up to the router with an ethernet cable.
or, if i had thought about this before typing all that, get that ethernet cable and plug it in, you'll bypass the wep code and be able to connect to the router interface, then just change the wep code to something you can remember.
