Forum CPU & Components : Sound Cards connecting a pianno

Word :    Username :

My parents got a new piano with a Midi out, and i would like to connect it to their pc. Unfortunately they haven't got sound card with midi. Therefore i would like to know which hardware i can use to branch it. I don't care if it is a card or a usb-tool, but if it is a card , they pc doesn't have PCI express . (and it shouldn't be too expensive)

Thx in advance

For good and cheap. Go to Ebay, search any one of these Creative Labs cards

CT4830
CT4780
CT4870
CT4620

You should be able to get one for $15.00 US

You could download either the Creative Drivers or MUCH BETTER

the kX drivers: Version 3538M
