Invision actually looks decent. All I can remember is it's got an orange/grey theme resembling the old THG homepage.
I don't think that software is even around anymore.
Hmmm... I'm being nostalgic again, I'll stop now.
so when did Best of mediocrity i mean best of mad skill buy the site?
is it true Dr. pabst died?
i read this on wiki
TG Publishing owned it before BoM.

I don't see that on the wiki. IIRC he left THG during 2004 due to different opinions in management. He is much more like Anand, a true enthusiast at heart.
[EDITED]Look what I just dug up.

My points > your points.
Yeah, gotta love that. Nearly 32000 posts ... and 6400 points.

I never even had the chance to use that account with the new points system.
It's a still quite a sight to behold though. Pretty sure even after all these years it's still ranked #2 after Crashman in post counts. It's my last piece of souvenir I have on this forum.

It's actually 32.5k, a lot of posts got lost (technically speaking none of those posts even exists on the forum's database anymore, it's all be wiped clean
)
If you're not second, you're 3rd behind Wingy. However, I think Wingy would gladly settle with 3rd so he can go behind you.
+1.
You won't enjoy it though.
Aunty Jack might have though ...
I liked the forum look before this one.
It had a reply to button. Much better than having to include long quote or whatever. Made keeping track of conversations much easier.
But of course, then there was the quote within the quote within the quote within the quote within the quote, which rreally made it easy to keep track of heheh
I did like my slide rule once ... but the Ti59 buried that ...
Ahhh yes, nostalgia and red numbers, who can forget such things?

wow i have no clue about all this history does anyone have a cached version of the old one?
I severely doubt it. Google caches only once at a time and the internet archive was prevented from caching pages from this domain, otherwise we'd be able to go back to 1998 or so.
internet archive?

How dare those farkers taint on my favourite word "rational"!
They're nothing, but irrational, emotional jackasses.
well then..
That article has an inaccuracy. The Federal Court is not really similar to the Supreme Court, since it doesn't deal with Constitutional matters. It's just the court that deals with most corporate matters. The High Court is the equivalent of the US Supreme court though, and that's likely where any appeals to this decision will take place.

The film industry merely wants the profits that they are entitled to. It's exactly the same as the MPAA and the RIAA. But they don't go about getting those profits in a very "rational" way, let alone ethical.
Lovely.

I hope Michael gets his $4 million back.
I hope Michael Jackson goes down in history
If he isn't already, then why is he on Wikipedia?
Malone you cretin ... sheesh.
Meaann!
MJ should be in the hall of Fame for something more than Music
He was a rockspider.
rockstar
My reference was to a music industry case against an Austalian ISP ... if you were an Aussie you would know that.
Maybe you should post elsewhere eh?
Some of the threads created in the Server forum the past few days are very 'home' stuff, and the replies they receive is super-lame homebuilt forum quality posts.
Why is no one asking the harder enterprise stuff for me to answer?
Maybe I should go spend more time in the Storage forum again and try to see if there's any SAN related threads in there.
