Hi, can i play GTA 4?

I have P4 - 2Ghz,
Geforce FX5500 512MB card
1.2 GB Ram

is far cry 2 playable o my comp -
I have P4 - 2Ghz,
Geforce FX5500 512MB card
1.2 GB Ram


I tried installing all sort of drivers -
175.19_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_whql
77.77_winxp2k_international_whql
91.28_forceware_winxp2k_english
but get far cry2 error as - Drivers are too old

also, when i try installing - 180.43_geforce_winxp_32bit_english_beta
it doesssssssssnt install saying -


could not locate drivers compatible with h/w

Maybe!!!You might be able to play far cry 2 on very low settings and low resolution. Download Directx from the microsoft download center, and physix from the nvidia website. Then you should be able to play the game. I only had a nvidia 7100 chipset and was able to play it on the lowest settings and resolution, but i have 4gb ram, 2.5ghz dual core, who knows.
If you upgrade your ram and processor you will definetly be able to play. Ram I played that game on the same settings with 512mb ram.

There are many other things that matter when buying ram such as speed, not just size> processor, make sure that your motherboard can support the fsb speed on the processor, and also the socket type( for example 775, 1366, etc.) so that the processor will fit, and processor type, such as core 2 duo, Pentium d, etc. useful information if you are looking to upgrade your computer. These are probably not the only things that you need to worry about when upgrading your computer, but what I know that you must check before upgrading your computer.

i played far cry 2 on a pentium 4 3ghz, 2gb ram and a 8600gt at medium high settings, but prity low fps!

hello guys !
i just bought gta iv
but in the game i have problems
all the time (each 5 sec) it stucks for 2 sec
but i have a good system
vista 64 bit
intel core 2 duo 2.66 ghz
ram 2 gb (i think i must have a little more to play )
ati vapor sapphre 4850 512 mb
for what reason the game still stucks ??
it stucks at all settings even i have 800x600 and every thing low or even i have 1296x1000 and every thing maximun graphics it stucks the same
