Resolution and Windows 10

Hi,
I've just bought a new PC.
It has a GTX 1060 graphics card and Ryzen 2600 processor.
The problem is the monitor/tv I used for my PS4 which displayed games at 1920x1080.
Windows 10 is stating the recommended resolution is 1366x768.
The monitor/tv is the Samung ue28j4100.
If I change to 1920x1080 the desktop icons are slightly off screen and a little blurry.
My drivers are up to date for the graphics card so I'm at bit of an impasse.
Any help would be appreciated.

    Is this your tv: https://www.which.co.uk/reviews/televisions/samsung-ue28j4100

If so it's native resolution is 1366x768, windows is correct. Your PS4 must be doing some kind of upscaling if it reports it's running at 1920x1080.

Thanks. You're right, I hadn't thought to look up specs for the tv.
Well, I'll invest in a new monitor at some stage.
    Much appreciated.
