  1. I would disagree with a few points here:
    1. TLC flash is still significantly faster than a hard drive.
    2. A storage device lasting 3 years of normal use is unacceptable. While most modern SSDs feature enough endurance for the average user, it is still worth keeping an eye on.
    3. Planar TLC flash often (though not always) has insufficient endurance, and should generally be avoided.
    A few years ago I would have disagreed about the unimportance of the controller also, but as far as I can tell, Sandforce has ceased to exist, so their sub-par controllers are no longer a concern.

    On an unrelated note, I'm getting "UNABLE TO CONFIGURE VERIFICATION PAGE" when I try to log in with third party cookies disabled.
