And here's a close-up pic of my Skylake build. Showing off the cable management and case badges.
Since i'm missing the Corsair ML series fans and NZXT HUE+ to complete my Skylake build, had to use flash to see inside the dark case. I'll post more pics once i have more goodies. (Got few building pics as well if anyone is interested.)

  21. An inexpensive AS Media USB 3.1 card to go with Oculus Rift!!, bought with help from Christmas gift $. Loving VR. I built my rig for it so it's nice to get it.
Loving everyone's upgrades. Full systems, GPUs, CPUs, PSs. Upgrades are too much fun. How will I ever stop? Sweet LE power supply Blackbird.

  22. For my secondary rig I side-graded the case from a HAF-X to a 780T, upgraded from an H80i to a Kraken X61, eplaced a bad PSU with an EVGA 1000W G2, and replaced my horrible MSI Z87 G45 witha Z87 Asus Maximus VI Formula.

  24. I rescued this Alienware ALX from ebay; replaced the 4x2GB 1333Mhz RAM with 4x4GB 1600Mhz Corsair Vengeance. For the GPU, first I tried my spare 390X, which booted fine, but proved too much load on the PSU for gaming (it is a PITA to pull out and replace these PSUs on this series of Alienware), so I bought a STRIX GTX 1060 and good to go. Which means this must have come with the 525W version of the PSU.

  30. I'll update this post once it arrives next week but going back to intel for the time being.
I enjoyed the amd fx series but it doesn't offer enough horse power for what I do on it everyday.

Yeah those are nice fans. I am thinking of replacing them with some RGB ones (either Thermaltake Riings or Corsair RGBs) to compliment my NZXT Hue+ and the RGB lighting on the Designare.

Seems like that pentium does well on air cooling, I'm iffy about the fps part of it doesn't look too promising on a smooth ride.
When you get it built up, use his onboard video and see how it does before switching over to his main gpu.

OK good to know. Right now all my spare money is going toward getting a new laptop since my Lenovo is on its' last legs. I'm looking at HP, MSI, and Gigabyte right now, leaning very heavily on the HP Spectre X360 with a 1TB SSD and 16GB of RAM.
