Trying to choose been: (4gb) RX 480 Sapphire NITRO+ and (6gb) GTX 1060 MSI OC

Hi. I am currently attempting to decide between:

a) 4GB RX 480 Sapphire NITRO @ $349AUD
b) 6GB GTX 1060 MSI OC @ $399AUD

What do you think? From what I've read, the 1060 is somewhat more powerful than the 480, except in some DX12 games. There is also the 2GB difference here, though -- how significant do you think that is? Ultimately, do you think it would be worth paying the extra $50 to stretch to the 1060? In my area, an 8GB RX 480 is unfortunately beyond my budget.

Here's some more information, for context:

Location: Australia
Purchase Date: In the coming few days.
Plans to Overclock: No
Plans to SLI/Crossfire: No
Resolution: 1080p, at the moment.
Other parts planned so far: (CPU) i5 6500, (MB) Asus H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151, (PSU) Antec TPC 550 80+ Gold, (RAM) 8GB Crucial 2133, (CASE) CORSAIR CARBIDE CC200R.

  1. With 1080p the larger memory really doesn't help. The 6GB's is more than enough and the 1060 is more powerful than the 480.
