Looking for a new monitor 1080p or 1440p IPS

Hello all,

I'm looking to buy a new monitor for my, mostly gaming, set up.
I've been gathering information and reading forums for the past 3-4 months, but I can't seem to find my perfect match.

I'm looking at a good 1080p IPS panel (with good response times), but i can't seem to find one.
Or a 1440p IPS panel (with good response times)

My GPU is a GTX 970 and I'm not looking to upgrade in the next year, maybe two years. I still want to future proof myself so that I can run future AAA games on high with 50-60fps.
Could you please help me select a monitor? I really don't know what to look at anymore.

My budget is up to 350 euro. But in that budget I would like a monitor that can go on a few years. Please help me out.

Yes I know, but I also think my gpu can't drive a 1440p in the long run. Any advice on a 1080p?
