The ACX 2.0 has an issue where the third copper heatpipe isn't covering the GPU at all:

I wouldn't personally get it,either Gigabyte,ASUS Strix or MSI Twin Frozr V.

Is there a thread on EVGA forums for this issue?

I'm currently looking for an option to watercool it and how much it would cost, so there shouldn't be any issues + more room to overclock in the future if needed (I don't think there will be a need for it as a base clock already 200 mhz higher compared to reference card). http://www.overclock.net/t/1514327/760-reference-waterb...
BTW, overclocked gtx 970 beats 980 on it's own which is great, I think :)

P.S. I'm changing my mind to often at this stage of my upcoming build :)

I would still get the Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming,it's a great overclocker and it's the best card out of the box. ;)

Then you can go with the EVGA.
Tbh,I would get a Gigabyte or MSI 970,but I am not saying that you shouldn't go with the EVGA,it's personal preference.
