Problems with PSU and/or GPU. Could use some last minute help!

Hey all, I just finished my first build! As a low budget gaming pc everything is working great except for one issue. When running on board graphics everything works fine, with my graphics card plugged in i'm experiencing lag, freezing, and crashes. Some have told me it's my PSU, some have told me it's the GPU, and some have told me it is the compatibility of my motherboard and the GPU. I'm planning on just returning both the PSU and my graphics card tomorrow. If there is any last minute advice please let me know! Thanks!

More about problems psu gpu minute
  1. i think that's too much for windows. get something cheaper Home and invest that money on something else. maybe get a 7770 gpu
  2. Yeah i'm planning on it that was just what pcpartpicker had it priced at. The 7770 is a bit too pricey for me right now especially if I have to invest in a high quality PSU.
  3. well according to eggxpert's psu tier list , your psu is should be replaced as soon as possible.
(btw i thought you wanted help with your build, but as it seems you built it already ^^)
i don't think there are any compatibility issues with your gpu and mobo.
  4. Lol yeah almost done but still having problems with the GPU and PSU i only have a few days to return them if I need to. The PSU is gonna go but i'm on the edge about returning the graphics card still not knowing if its bad or not. Any suggestions for a better or more compatible GPU for around the same price (70-100)?
  5. try to look for a 6750 or even better a 7750 . i think i saw a sapphire 7750 for 100$ on newegg
  6. This one? Should be just fine with my mobo right? Since its ddr5 would my memory support this? i know its cheap. Sorry for asking so many questions im still fairly new at this lol
  7. yes it should be fine. you won't have any problems.
  8. okay cool. Thanks for your help!
  9. have fun
