i have a hd box upstairs in my house with one satellite feed in how do i split the signal to be able to record one channel and watch another. i have purchased a splinting adapter from maplin with two satellite cables as instructed by their staff and it does not work as it is not register a signal when viewing the signal strength level indicator via the services button.
