I've found it quite easy to dub most all my old VHS tapes to DVD using my one-step recorder (Dub-button)....However, to my surprise, there are several remaining that i've found are 'copy-protected' & a couple aren't available in any other format...There must be some way (in the yr 2010) to bypass this?...If so, i'd much appreciate if you could assist me -- thanks

Try this http://www.xdimax.com/dvd/dvdredpro.html

You may also be able to just attach the output of the VCR to another DVD recorder input and start the record that way.
