Hi

I decided to downgrade my cable to basic but can't quite figure out how to program the channels from the remote

Try the manuals here.

The differences between the first 4 models and yours won't be much.

Try this:

From your On Screen Display, go to Picture --> Mode --> Input.

From here, I'm not sure if you should select Standard Def or Hi Def, after selecting, it should prompt you to scan for channels.

FWIW, I have the 232T version - Page 30 of the manual.

Hope it helps.

Thanks I'll try to check the manuals here. I called the stupid manufacture who's only open 9-5 excluding weekends so she gave me this long explanation that I wrote down and then left on my desk. There is no mode or input option on mines. I guess my model is really old.

Thanks sir ! My problem is the tv won't recognize the tuner....all other inputs work. I read several posts on this but never heard any resolution...I'm thinking maybe firmware updates or something before I start replacing hardware,,,tuner, etc. Do you have any tips or ideas or firmware update files???
