Copy to cd

Hi All
Tried copying some music to cd for my car travels,
Brand new cd's , music sounds great on laptop , but skips when played on any other cd player ?.

You need to use the best CDs to minimize compatibility issues. I made several hundred commercial CDs and I found that the Taiyo Yuden were acknowledged the best. Not absolutely sure of spelling. Look for them on the internet. I had no such problems when I used them.

I can't guarantee they'll solve your problem, but it's likely.

What software are you using to burn?

As I know Windows Media Player can burn music in CD, and sound not too bad.
