I have been having problems opening, and/ or ejecting from my cd/dvd drive.
It will usually open after multiple pressings of the eject button. But it is
most annoying. Has anyone else had this problem? or know of a fix Below are

How does using your CD software program's "Eject" command work?
Same problem?

Sounds an awful lot like a mechanical defect in the eject
mechanism - call Dell [presumably you're still under warranty]
and ask for a replacement.

WTFO? That was beyond overkill, beyond overmassacre, even. I've
never seen anyone post that much useless and unneeded info in a
