I have a hp laptop d60. i was replacing the dc adapter. It went very smooth until i was putting it back together. I then realized i pulled two tiny wires out of a little 4 pin plug that goes to the motherboard. I dont know what it is exactly. two wires are black and go to into the hinge below the screen. those wires were shorter than the other two. they were the ones i pulled out before realizing i needed to unplug before pulling the laptop apart! the other two are red and black and go out toward the plugs on the side of the laptop. Im wondering if there is a place i can buy a generic plug with wires in it so i can just splice these to the wires that are still in the laptop. Or is it possible to pull out the insides of that little plug and put the wires back in? Sorry, I know this is a little jumbled. I dont know any technical terms. I can get some pix if that helps....
