So you have a macbook, which i'm guessing is running Windows 7 via bootcamp?

Hook up your projector via whichever connector it came with (VGA?HDMI?DVI?) to your laptop, make sure the projector has power, now go to you Start menu, in the search box type "projector" now click on projector in the list and it shoud allow you to connect it how you would like.
