HP TX2000 Experts, help wanted!

I'm trying to combine three 'scrappers' to produce one viable machine. What I really want to know is can I expect to boot to BIOS with the machine partially rebuilt on base plastics with cpu,memory, power supply and external monitor? ie a sort of 'breadboard setup? So far all lights come on and fan spins, one blue LED flashing on right side of sw cover, but no display...

Answered my own question, in case anyone needs to do the same...obtained a known good board and got HP welcome screen on ext monitor, but obviously needed to connect k/board to get to BIOS...
