I first want to say thank you to everyone ive learned alot. I have decided on the qosmio q7380 laptop however i called the local office max to see which one they had and was told they only have the display model which is a Qosmio X775-Q7270. I have compared the two laptops and the only diffidence is the processor:

Qosmio X775-Q7380 Laptop has the Intel® Core™ i5-2430M processor
and the Qosmio X775-Q7270 has the Intel® Core™ i5-2410M processor

Since it is the display model he will sell it to me for $800 vs buying the Qosmio X775-Q7380 Laptop for 979 from Toshiba. How big of a difference would the processor make? Does it warrant buying the cheaper of the 2 or will there be a noticeable difference.

Totally worth the $180 savings for a very small difference in CPU speed - a difference you'd not notice.

See specs side by side:

Difference = 100MHz (due to Bus/Core Ratio)
