Hello. I am working on fixing up an HP Laptop 6910P that is currently displaying inverted color on the LCD screen. I have connected it to an external monitor (which displays fine) to confirm that the issue is not with the GPU.

My understanding is that the LCD screen, the LCD inverter, or the LCD cable may be the issue. How might you suggest approaching the problem? I prefer not to buy a new LCD screen if necessary. What is the best way to find the source of the problem?
