MMO Laptop

Hello, I am looking to pick up a notebook to run Wow and SWTOR, as well as Diablo III and Guild Wars 2 when they are released.


1. What is your budget? - Want to spend $1200, max is $1500

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering? - 15 inches or less

3. What screen resolution do you want? - 1366x768

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop? - Will serve as a desktop replacement with only occasional trips to the living room

5. How much battery life do you need? - Would prefer 3-5 hours when not gaming

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)? - Wow, SWTOR, Starcraft 2, GW 2 and Diablo III when released. Medium is fine, but am looking for high FPS at medium.

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.) - Just general web browsing

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need? - Would love to have an SSD and an external drive for other storage, so size isn't as important as speed.

9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links. - Nowhere specific

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop? - Somewhere around 3 years

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ? - Optical drive not necessary. If anything just a DVD Rom.

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons. - Open to ideas here. Have heard of reliability issues with HP and acer, so might want to avoid those, but again open to ideas.
