Hi,
Can I know whether the Asus global warranty will be valid if my Asus A53SV-SX792V laptop requires assistance in Australia, whereas I bought it in Malaysia.
Or is the global warranty only applicable in the country of purchase?
Please help.

Thanks

I'd contact Asus directly and talk to them...

Without reading your particular warranty, it would be hard to give you an answer. Warranties change and are rewritten.

That is only part of the problem. What really matters is whether the warranty shop where you are even choses to honor the warranty regardless of what the corporate policy is.

That is why "international" brands frequently are not.

excellent point.

Im not that familiar with global computer warranties... im more familiar with professional audio warranties and fortunately they work differently.
