video card upgraded to the 1GB AMD Radeon(TM) HD 7690M GDDR5 Discrete Graphics(TM) [HDMI, VGA] benchmark surpasses the gt 540 and 550

dont know anything about the processor so cant tell if its a decent one. Im trying to find a laptop to play skyrim on med settings and later diablo 3. budget is 700$

it looks like a good deal but I cannot comment on 7690 since those cards haven't come out yet.

Average price for same components A6, 6gb ram 640gb hdd ~ $600, so essentially if you do get the GPU for that money it's a good deal.

7690 is the a rebranded 6770. Which had slightly better 3d performance than 555m(?).
