2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
At least 13"

3_What screen resolution do you want?
Not sure, as high as possible, but not hugely important.

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Desktop replacement.

5_How much battery life do you need?
Not hugely important but 3hrs would be good.

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
No.

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)
Web browsing, photo editing, video encoding, skype calls (good webcam needed)

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?
Need only 128gb min, I use an ix2-200 4tb so all storage would be placed there. Would love an SSD but know that's not feasible for price.

10_How long do you want to keep your laptop?
3 years

Singapore, but dont worry about that too much, I can scout about based on your rec's to see what I can get here.

ok from your post I gather you need a good CPU (for video encoding), good webcam (for skype) and matte screen. You need at least 13" and $700 top.

I can recommend the following:

The only problem with those is the newegg ones come with glossy screens, however, I'm sure that lenovo does offer matte screen option on their laptops, so it's just a matter of finding one that has such screen.

Another notebook with similar specs is Fujitsu Lifebook LH531.
