Hello, I have an acer one and recently had to change the screen since the other one broke. the computer was powered down for quite a while and when I powered it up, it wouldn't accept my password or what I think was my password. Is there a factory password that will allow me to reset my personal password?

No there is not. You can google your question elsewhere or contact Acer for assistance, but be prepared to provide proof of ownership. Discussions on how to by-pass security features, including passwords, are not allowed on Tom's Forums.

Sorry, Tom's Hardware forum doesn't provide any guide to bypass password protection.

We cannot verify if you are the legit owner.
