How to do a system restore on toshiba laptop Satellite m115 s3094

Earlier today my laptop told me I had a virus. It locked my computer up. I am trying to restore it to factory settings but to no avail. I hold the 0 key and it will beep, then it shows the windows loading screen and then goes black. I have tried enabling the vga mode and booting in safe mode with networking and they all give me the same result. I tried taking the battery out and holding down the power button and that didnt help. It always leads me to a black screen.

I have dropped it once, a long time ago. It was working fine earlier today. I haven't visited any sites that would give me a virus, but a buddy of mine did borrow it about a week ago.

Does anyone have any idea how I might fix this?

I have the same problems, I hold "0" to turn the computer on, but it did lead to HDD recovery, please help!
