how do i get this webcam to work i'm confused pluss i'm a girl but still how can you help me? :(

Wow ! That's tough.

Have you installed the Crystal Eye Webcam utility in the Laptop?
If not, it should be available on the recovery disc.
You also need to check in the My Computer (Right Click)-- Properties - Device Manager - Imaging Devices --- if the WebCam shows up there.
