Im looking to buy a macbook pro for college, i am in a video production major so i need to get at least a decent macbook pro. Here are a few i was looking at. Can you tell me your opinion and if you know of any better deals. THX

Coming to Tom's to ask Mac advice is dicey at best and is likely to get you flamed massively.

From experience, however, going straight to Apple for their student offers or via your college/university is usually your best bet.

Also for video production, a Mac Pro is a far better platform, but a little bulky to try to lug around (just kidding).
