What is your guys favorite movie that takes a few viewing to really absorb everything.

My favorite is between Mulhuland Dr. and The Fountain. But there are so many! I wish they would do better at the box office so they would be made more often.

Agree with Mulholland drive. After watching it a second time gave it a thumbs down. Can't think of another one right now. rarely do I have time to watch a movie once, much less twice. ;)

+1. I've seen it a dozen times and still haven't made up my mind on the mechanics. The music is fantastic as well.

Memento is a great movie that takes a bit of time for it to sink in, since it does happen completely bass ackwards

Unless you have the special edition, which has the movie backwards (um forwards). Jarring to watch though.

Dreamcatcher. The book was very easy to follow, but the movie was not. Like the ending when Duddits is fighting the alien. In the book it was a psychic fight. They didn't actually turn into monsters or whatever they were. I guess there was no good/easy way to portray that in the film?

2001 A Space Odyssey
Antichrist
Stalker
A Clockwork Orange
Pink Floyd - The wall
Kokuhaku (awesome asian movie)

I could tell you many more mindfuck movies but these are some of my favourites.

Have you seen revolver? I haven't seen a few on your list, so I will need to check them out.
