Hello,Today when I plugged in my computer it will run on the battery only. It no longer takes power thru the cord. No damage has taken place. Makes it almost impossible to read the screen. The power unit light is steady green, wriggling the connector at the computer does nothing. I expect that when the battery goes down nothing will work. Any thoughts/resolutions?
Thanks, Fred

It's most likely a bad AC adapter. For some reason or another, a fair amount of Dell AC adapters go out long before they should. If you are still under warranty, you should be able to get a free one. If not, it'll run you around $50-$80.
