I have recently bought a BENQ LCD monitor and now, when I send B+W or colour images to my HP PSC1210 printer they end up with a bluish haze over them. Can anyone help? Please!!

The monitor has 0 effect on what your printer will print. It's like your oven breaking after you buy a new toaster. Check the printer for issues, toner, fuser, etc...
The only time the monitor and printer will interact is if you are trying to set exact colors that you see on the screen and calibrate it with what the printer can print.
