Basically I'm looking for the cheapest, non-tacky way to mount 3, 24" monitors in landscape, and 5, 20" monitors in portrait mode directly above the 24" monitors.
Most likely I'm just gonna stand the 24" on the table. Question is how to mount them something like this:
or maybe just build my own with hammer and nails, which I fail miserably at. lol

I would not trust that mount to hold much of anything. Most quality mounts are in the 40-50 range if not a $100 or so.
Read reviews of the thing first unless you like sweeping up monitor glass off the floor when they crash down.
You'll have some issues mounting them also as you really need to screw the mounts into a support and not just the sheetrock so you'll have placement issues. Unless you mount a board solidly on the wall and screw in the monitor mounts into that.

yea nvm it has bad reviews.. a 5 monitor mount is hard to find.. i think i may have to go with a 6 monitor mount instead.. and sell my extra 2 monitors
