Moniter or TV?

Forum Computer Peripherals : Flat Panel Monitors Moniter or TV?

Hello again my friends. I had some great advice when I had a new build and am now debating on which monitor to get or just get another TV for my main display. I am currently running a 42" VIZIO as my display which I have found to work great to do homework from my recliner and watch videos via netflix and youtube with moderate gaming (since I am using my laptop). Kind of got spoiled on the huge display. I will be moving the TV to the living room and cannot decide what to purchase. I am not looking to spend a fortune on a display but would like something decent around $200.00. I am going to primarily be using my display for gaming and school work (unfortunately probably not in that order). I would appreciate any advice on what to purchase.
I found some good deals at Newegg such as this:

Acer S230HLAbii Black 23" 5ms HDMI LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ACM 100,000,000:1 (1000:1)

I will be running a EVGA 02G-P3-1568-KR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video CardModel #:02G-P3-1568-KRItem #:N82E16814130683
Thank you all in advance!
