Samsung or ASUS Monitor For Gaming?

Forum Computer Peripherals : Flat Panel Monitors Samsung or ASUS Monitor For Gaming?

I am looking to get a bigger monitor for gaming.

I have narrowed it down to these two:

Samsung SyncMaster 2494HS: 24″ 1080p LCD Monitor 5ms

ASUS VE248H 24'' 1080p LED Monitor 2ms

They look very similar the only difference seems to be the response time and the LCD/LED. (I'm not sure about the input lag...can't more than 10ms...?)

Anyway which one of these would you recommend for FPS and action games or are they both just as good?

Is 2ms-5ms a big concern? :heink:

Sorry for the Sub-category, I can't seem to find a monitor section...

I also vote the ASUS. My two experiences with Samsung have been horrible.

I would go with Asus too, I'm not for sure who makes the panel but I am sure it is by Samsung, LG, or someone. I've been looking at the VS248 which is very similar to the VE, but I read somewhere, that the VS doesn't ghost like the VE but you can't really tell either of them they say... The VE has built in speakers though.
