Best PC wheel for $150

Forum Computer Peripherals : General Discussion Best PC wheel for $150

I want to get a racing wheel for my computer. My budget is $150, firm. I will not buy a G25 or G27.

That said, I have done a lot of research into wheels and come up cold. The only solid reviews (ones that actually test the wheels instead of looking at the features list and guessing) I have found point to the Thrustmaster NASCAR and the Logitech MOMO, both of which have been discontinued.

The only two wheels available on the market today in my price point that I can find are the Thrustmaster Ferrari F430 and the Logitech Driving Force GT. I don't want speculation. If you own one of these wheels or have personal experience using them, I would like to hear about them in terms of build quality in the wheel and pedals and compatibility with Windows 7 and modern racing titles like DiRT 3. Other useful information like customer service, ease of use, and the clamping system would be great to know.

Should I get one of these two wheels, go out on a limb with a used classic, or do you have another suggestion? I would love to learn anything you may have to offer.

Thanks in advance
Brennen
