ASUS VS248H

I was looking to change my actual monitor,a Samsung SyncMaster 206BW (20" ) to a 24" one...i'm an artist,but also a gamer,and my Samsung gave me the colors i wanted to draw..and also gave me the speed (2ms) to play without probs.

But it has +4 years and i've been looking for a monitor of 24" that has the same,or even better,quality n stuff of my actual monitor

I've been trying to find reviews and youtube videos (i even requested youtube people to take a shot of 2 drawings of mine to see how did they looked like in the new monitor,but no news) but the only thing i found is this http://www.bestgamingmonitor.net/f [...] -p-review/ (thou the monitor we have for retail has no "-p" in the end..)

I've read people in another forum when i asked for a monitor upgrade saying "IPS FTW,better colors" but then i google'd and said "Not good for Gaming"..maybe it's because i mentioned "art" in my doubts...but then,again,i'm into art (photoshop) n gaming (Team Fortress 2,others..)

Another thing is that some people on the net says "there's ghosting" others "NOT!"

What do you guys think?...

Or what about Samsung monitors of 24"?...or 23"...please someone reply !

but i dun want USB ports,makes it more costy!..

I just received the VS248. It's a nice screen but looks like there's a layer of grease

yeah it looks like there's a layer of grease all throughout the screen. Not literally on top of it, but the way the colors defract non uniformly.
