Hello,
My laptop was left in the car for a few hours and when I came back to get on it... the screen was DAMAGED! There are black huge blobs and pink, green, yellow, and blue line across the screen. Does anyone know what could have happened? Or how to fix it? Could it maybe have been the sun?

Most electronics have a temp range for operation, and a different temp range for storage. If these temps are exceeded then permanent damage will occur.

Do you think I can get the screen replaced? or would I have to get a whole new laptop?

Screen replacement will cost you over $300 (some shops have quoted $800).

You have 2 choices - 1) Connect an external monitor to the existing laptop, OR 2) buy a refurbished laptop for about $300

Screen replacement will cost you over $300 (some shops have quoted $800).

But it's only a little notebook computer... really small. Do you still think that it will be expensive? I really appreciate the information guys.

Yes, even a little notebook repair is expensive. I am talking about repair in the US. Shop hourly labor rates run from $60/hour to $110/hour; that's why.
