Whenever i on my computer, the monitor goes blank. When i tried switching of and then on the monitor, it is fine but then blank again after 2-5 seconds.

Look very closely at the monitor, maybe shine a light on it, is there a faint image? Or is it fully dark?

Try the monitor on another PC, and try your PC with another monitor to see where the issue is.

You'll probaby just want to replace the monitor if it's not working, would be as cheap as getting yours fixed.
