Ok so ive had this monitor for awhile and its starting to go out on me so i disided to open it but i cant get in to it. there are no screws of any type except for the screws that mount the stand. dose any one have any ideas on how this opens?
any ideas would very appreciated
I looked at the website for manuals; there ain't none! Then I looked at my monitors. They appear to be like the clam shell design with no apparent fastening screws. This means that the 2 halves were snapped together.
Try and ask at your local Best Buy, CompUsa, etc. as to how they would dismantle it.

I recently took my LCD apart (Samsung) and it was clipped together. There were like 4 hidden screws then the rest was pried open carefully with a precision screw driver. It's really not too hard, you just have to be patient not to break the clips, although I broke my first one close to a screw because I couldn't figure out how they worked. Went much smoother after that.
