trying to use my old Boston Digital BA735 speakers with a new (2010) pc. i know i need some type of driver that will allow digital signal to the analog speaker output. Is there such a driver or device???

The speakers you are using only have a digital input.

A driver won't do you any good. I assume your computer doesn't have a digital output.
So you have a couple of options; buy a sound card with a digital output or a device to convert analog to digital.
